Mike Mayon

Mike has 20+ years of finance and investing experience focused on energy and infrastructure assets. He spent 14 years with Energy Spectrum Capital, an energy infrastructure investment firm, where he most recently served as Managing Partner and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. At Energy Spectrum, Mike served on 15+ portfolio company boards and helped deploy over $1.0 billion of equity across platform and follow-on investments. Earlier in his career, Mike worked at Cyprium Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, and at Banc of America Securities in energy investment banking. Mike holds a BA in Biological Sciences and a BBA in Financial Consulting from Southern Methodist University, and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mike Hillerman

Mike has 25+ years of experience developing, engineering, constructing, and operating infrastructure assets, and has spent the last decade leading three successful private-equity-backed midstream companies. Mike led Pinnacle Midstream II in developing, financing, constructing, and operating a greenfield gas gathering and processing system in the Midland Basin and, prior to that, built and operated Pinnacle Midstream I’s Delaware Basin gas gathering, processing, and crude oil gathering systems. Earlier, he helped grow PSI Midstream’s Louisiana gas gathering and processing systems. Mike began his career at ExxonMobil, working in asset operations and engineering roles, and later developed international crude oil production and midstream infrastructure at Ivanhoe Energy. Mike holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Ben Davis

Ben brings 28+ years of experience in energy finance and investment management. Ben started his career in upstream energy investment banking before transitioning to private equity at Energy Spectrum Capital, where he served as Managing Partner and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. At First Light Capital, Ben focuses on business development, capital development and transaction structuring. Active in governance and community leadership, Ben is serving a second term on the board of the Dallas Petroleum Club, and Ben is chairman of the ADAM Energy Forum. Ben previously served on the Board of Trustees and Investment Committee of Woodberry Forest School and on the Church Council of Highland Park UMC, where he chaired the Finance Committee. Ben holds two BA degrees from the University of Richmond.
